12-year-old girl raped by principal, three teachers in Bihar

JEHANABAD: A 12-year-old student of a government school was allegedly raped by the principal and three teachers here, police on Monday said.

Principal of Kako Secondary School Aju Ahmed and three teachers -- Atul Rahman, Abdul Bari and Md Shakaut -- raped the girl yesterday when she was alone in the building, Sub- Divisional Police Officer (SDPO) P K Srivastava said.

The accused took her to the roof of the school building and committed the crime, the SDPO said quoting an FIR registered against the four based on a complaint filed by the girl's mother.
The victim was spotted by her mother, also a teacher in the same school, lying in a "dishevelled" state on the roof. The girl then narrated the incident to her, the SDPO said.The accused are at large and searches are being conducted to nab them, he said.Sunday, routinely a holiday, had been declared a working day in the school in a verbal communication by the Principal who had instead ordered it to be closed on Friday, Srivastava said.

Medical report rules out rape of Jehanabad girl

PATNA: The Jehanabad police on Tuesday said the medical report of the 12-year-old mentally challenged girl did not confirm rape. A board of four doctors of sadar hospital conducted the medical examination and submitted the report to police on Tuesday.

The girl's mother had lodged an FIR with the women's police station on Sunday evening against Kako Urdu School principal Aju Ahmed and three teachers — Mohammad Rahman, Abdul Bari and Mohammad Shaukat — alleging that they raped the girl on the school terrace.

"The medical report neither found any injury marks on her private parts nor any pathological evidence was found to establish that the girl was raped," said Jehanabad SP Aditya Kumar, adding that the girl's mother, also a teacher in the same school, had certain issues with the school management for the last several months. He said the girl was brought before police at around 4pm and had been sent for medical examination soon thereafter.

The SP also said the girl continuously kept scratching the doctors and others while being handled. The accused were also physically examined but no scratch marks were found on their body. He also said the police smelt a rat when the mother, in her statement, said she saw her daughter being raped by the four accused, all in their late 50s, but did not scream or raised an alarm.
