The blast appears to be in Lower DIr, not Peshawar.

The SF's are doing what they can. It is hard to intercept small cells before they act when weapons and explosives are easily available and the porous border with Afghanistan allows transport of such items easily.

May those martyred RIP.

RIP to the people who are dead.

Down with criminal TTP. So they missed their target which was police station.

by attacking mosques and markets these terrorists are just digging their own graves.

No dude, nothing is happening as you see! These terrorists will bomb the mosques and blame it on Hindu India. That is what they did last time claiming they were not responsible for Peshawar market attacks. And unfortunately in Pakistan, there are too many conspiracy theories against CIA, RAW and Mossad which will be very easy to believe for an average ultra-religious man in Pakistan.

I think it is the responsibilty of military to come out and speak against it (as it is only the credible institution to Pakistanis). Only they have the vocal authority to the minds of average Pakistanis.

But dude.. Army believes india is behind terrorism is as well.

Yes I am getting that sense that PA has a strong feeling of Indian involvement but not sure what can be done.

It is hard to break strong perceptions.

India is absloutly involved ,they are channeling weapons, money and expolsive to these monkeys via afghanistan. This much is crystal clear.

Death toll from Pakistan mosque attack rises to 15
PAKISTAN - 19 DECEMBER 2009

PESHAWAR, Pakistan – The death toll from a suicide attack on a Pakistan mosque rose to 15 on Saturday after bodies were plucked from the rubble and people succumbed to their injuries, officials said.

The bomber rammed a vehicle rigged with explosives into a mosque next to a police headquarters in Lower Dir, a northwest district that Pakistan claims to have cleared of Taliban fighters after a major offensive this year.

"The death toll has reached 15 in the suicide blast. Two people died in hospital and two people were taken out from under the rubble," Doctor Wakeel Mohammad Khan, head of main hospital in Lower Dir, told AFP.

Muhammad Idrees Khan, deputy inspector general of police in the district, confirmed the same death toll from the attack in Taimergara town.

Islamist extremists are stepping up attacks in Pakistan to avenge military operations trying to crush Taliban sanctuaries in parts of the northwest, targeting security forces and increasingly civilians.
