U.S. Department of State published the annual report of the war on terrorism, which revealed that 11 500 terrorist incidents in Pakistan in 2010.

The US State Department has issued annual report of war on terror which revealed that 11,500 terrorism incidents occurred in Pakistan during 2010.

Majority of these incidents occurred in the tribal areas as most of the terrorist outfits use the tribal areas as their bases to launch terrorist activities. Heavy casualties were recorded in different cities in the acts of terrorism.

Suicide bombers were recruited as Khyber Pakhtunkhwa and FATA remained hub for the terrorist organisations, the report said.

According to the report, the devastated floods in 2010 affected Pakistan very badly.
However, the US State Department lauded the efforts of Pakistan armed forces in war against terror.

and Pakistan is supporting terrorists :hitwall:, stupid world media.

Compare that to the U.S.

11500 terrorist incidents inside Pakistan.

How many have happened inside the U.S.? 1?

So if we roughly look at these numbers and put them together.

It's 11500 versus 1.

That's the price Pakistan has to pay for America's warmongering.

This must be the highest amount terrorist act in a year for Pakistan since independence right?

It still astounds me how someone would be willing to give up their own lifes to kill other people. Don't this terrorist think of their parents and siblings?

If only I could know what goes on in the mind of a terrorist.

obviously "terrorists" are "bad" people so they are suppose to kill. but usa is "good", why are they killing our people in drone attacks, 90% of them are innocents and that is truth.

I know, but the US people are not killing themselves in drone attacks.

A suicide bomber meanwhile kills himself and leaves behind a mum and a father who probably cares for him. How much hatred can one have to kill another person.. at the expense of leaving a mourning mum behind. I really can't comprehend that part.

But then again, using logic for terrorist isn't probably the best idea.

I hope one day i can meet one of this people, just to ask him, is killing someone more important than your parents?

11500 incidents ? it means 11500/365 =32 per day ?

doesnot really make sense to me...

If only I could know what goes on in the mind of a terrorist.

In the mind of a terrorist several exabytes of brainwashing data, Many wrongly interpreted verses of quran and hadiths are present!!!

May be it includes minor incidents like firing on some security vehicle by Taliban which doesn't results in any casualty.

11500 incident and just one Rangers's jawan has got death penalty from court, Malik ishaq has released with providing police security gaurd and monthly wazifa.
Than expect more in 2011.

still yar, it doesnot make sense....32 per day and that too just in FATA and KP, actually FATA.
UPDATE: The original link cited is misleading actually. Thanks to quality of a Pak press.

However, I believe that not all incidents of terrorism and crimes that occur in Pakistan get reported. And this total likely includes minor acts of terrorism. Just look at the case of Karachi killings going on daily basis. These are acts of terrorism too.

Acts of terrorism have escalated in both Pakistan and Afghanistan within recent years.

Really, as pointed out by Leader, 32 per day. Even if we count the accidents, shooting incidents etc, this cant really be possible, huh"?. Maybe they are counting the everyday encounters the Army is encountering in FATA.!!!
