108 Giant Chinese Infrastructure Projects That Are Reshaping The World

There are a lot of foreign systems that work well.

I know but I am not sure it suits our society. Taiwan learned from Germany for decades, the result is a failure. We need to reform both education system and certain social values. It's not easy.

They learned by founding a lot of poor-quality universities?

Invest more money in education. We need more professional workers if we want to upgrade Chinese brand and quality of products. You know so far most Chinese workers in manufacturers are farmers, they accumulate skills from experiences but few of them accept systematic technical training in school.

In China about 30% of students can finally enter into colleges. A lot of students go to factory directly after middle school or high school graduation. I suggest they enter into professional technical school for 2-3 years. Government pay for them. Hire skilled retired workers as their teachers. We can fabricate almost everything, but China lack well-known world brand.
Upgrading Chinese brand is not about having educated people. Chinese brand and image is lacking due to China started out making cheap products. So it is in the mind of people: China made=bad quality. It doesn't help that there are scrupulous "business" people who make fake stuff thus further deteriorating the China image.

Education for the most part is overrated. Overrated in the sense that hiring educated people cannot change the brand image or increase company profit. Quality and brand image is subjective for the most part. As long as Chinese manufacturers continue to improve on quality (whatever that means) and keep up with R&D, the brand will improve. Look at Huawei's phones from 4 years ago compare to today.

In Canada we have many MBA graduates working for banks, and other companies, but they are there to suck the money out of the company and do not contribute much. We have problems here with too many "educated" people. You know when you see job advertisement requiring a university education for customer service rep is so wrong in many ways. In Germany, the problem is worse with MBA people running the show @Götterdämmerung , he can tell you how bad it is with these educated blokes.

We have too many people with masters and not enough people that know how to build/make things on the assembly line.

In summary, I agree to disagree with your assessment.

If Dr Sun is still alive he would be very surprised to see China is still kept in one piece and if he rules China he is just as pleased to see the pace and space that China has developed within the last 3-4 decades
