Since the dawn of man, many a great Empires and Civilizations have flourished throughout history, and although they have all crumbled and met their eventual demise, all of them left their mark on modern civilization in one form or another. Amongst these Empires was the Soviet Union, the mother ship of World Communism. It's rise to World power from a feudal state stuck in the medieval age in 1922 transformed into a industrialized world power in 1945, all within 23 years, and its continued domination as the second "super power" on the world stage within the latter half of the twentieth century has inspired many and instilled terror and hatred in others. Yet none can erase its legacy which is here to stay for as long as man continues to rule the earth.

This legacy includes the music unique to the Soviet Union and its military. This thread will serve as a place to post Soviet music, notably that sung by the Red Army Choir due to its unique style which makes it stand out.

Yeah, this particular Red Army song is very popular and has been used in a few video games as the main theme for the Soviet Faction. This song is also used in the online game World of Tanks.
