The end of the deal, hopes, delusions and treasons

I guess my biggest issue is whether or not the Iranian government and military honestly believe what they say when Zarif or Rouhani says "nukes don't make countries safer, and makes them weaker". It's one of my biggest issues when it comes to the Iranian side of the whole nuclear debate. But I...

The end of the deal, hopes, delusions and treasons

So if Iran finally leaves the NPT (which is should have a long time ago). Will the prospect of nuclear weapons be back on the agenda for the Iranian military?

So it's back to status quo then. lol

The end of the deal, hopes, delusions and treasons

It still wouldn't make any sense. Why would Trump say we as a nation look for peace and not toppling foreign governments, and then he would just rip up the nuclear deal. If Trump thinks Iran's nuclear energy program will up and go away, then we have a big problem on our hands. I don't know what...

Tehran 'Might Change Legislation' to Give Russia Permanent Military Base in Iran

Laugh all you want "Mike" I have my sources and information, but I don't care what you think or believe. I await your snide response. :yahoo: Well maybe I should restate it. I did say make of it what you will as it could mean many things but I'm still trying to make head and toes of it myself...

Tehran 'Might Change Legislation' to Give Russia Permanent Military Base in Iran

I hope and pray that there won't be my friend. Bah omideh khoda, Man dahah mikonnam ke jeng nesheh. But the political situation within the US and many European countries has become polarized, basically many different powers internally are trying to influence and seize power at all the layers...

Tehran 'Might Change Legislation' to Give Russia Permanent Military Base in Iran

This sort of thinking is deluded (I really don't mean to offend anyone but it has to be said my friend). Iran simply won't survive for too long if it wants to go solo against the world, it won't, period (sanctions sure Iran can survive sanction, but a dedicated military campaign against modern...

Tehran 'Might Change Legislation' to Give Russia Permanent Military Base in Iran

The main point that I'm trying to get across is that having that military base might be a good thing rather than a bad thing. Also I was under the impression that the revolutionary ideology strictly doesn't allow for foreign powers to have military bases in Iran.

Tehran 'Might Change Legislation' to Give Russia Permanent Military Base in Iran

The biggest issue with the Israeli planes attacking Syria is that they are now firing missiles form Lebanese or israeli air space which would render them virtually untouchable by the Russian or Syrian air defenses. Secondly, the russians are walking a tight rope here diplomatically, (many...

Iran: Purchase of Russian Su-30 fighters on agenda

If all indications of the current global status quo are the same as they've always been, then we can say with a great amount of certainty that the powers that be won't let Iran finish it's defensive strateg, that being an air force capable of completely defending it's terrorizes of all most all...

Iran: Purchase of Russian Su-30 fighters on agenda

More or less, Iran's air force will be it's undoing. If the enemy is allowed unquestioned rule over Iranian air space or rule over where Iran is operating outside of Iranian territory, then the war is lost. Not to mention all enemy states have to do is bomb government buildings and institutions...

Iran: Purchase of Russian Su-30 fighters on agenda

Since Israel increased its order of F-35 fighter jets to 50, which allows them to have two fully functional F35 squadrons. Iran's purchase will have to sizable in order to combat that threat ( F-35 is a multi-role stealth strike "super" weapon of sorts, only real reason that Israel increased...

Iran: Purchase of Russian Su-30 fighters on agenda

Any thought on how many and when the delivery would be complete? Also how reliable would this deal be, can we be sure that the Russians would be willing to go with the deal?

Leader: Iran to respond if US renews bans

I personally don't see either Iran or Turkey as weak, in the geo-politcal sense, Turkey has sway in Syria and Iraq via different ethnically Turkish groups. Iran has more sway with Shiites (since the overall narrative and facts do support this, is that Shiites are the underdogs in the region...

Leader: Iran to respond if US renews bans

So, what was Iran going to do in response to the sanctions. Was it just increase nuclear production?

Leader: Iran to respond if US renews bans

Well the US (my government) has been shady undoubtedly, I would like to see an inclusive team of multiple countries getting together and doing some good but it seems the strong mad tactics of all Middle Eastern leaders gets in the way. Every country has their own interests, but in this case it...

Leader: Iran to respond if US renews bans

Hmm... Then are the Americans bad to you in your opinion? I'm confused about the narrative in this thread so far, it's just another attack by others on the forum against the Iranians (typical). Secondly, whats the governmental diplomatic stance between the countries that the members here are...

U.S. grants Airbus license to sell 106 planes to Iran

What you say is true. We Americans don't have much say in what our government does anyways, hopefully Trump will be different but that's still a stretch.
