Errr, I think the reports are already finalized. BTW, is it a surprise that only Gujarat has started the land acquisition process, while the rest are just sitting over the files?
Hypocrisy? Lets leave it to the individual players whether they want to go or not. Life of International players and Ranji players is equally important.
Lol, let me rephrase that: Gwadar port is not giving the desired returns.
My point was - For how long will China be ready to invest in friendship with Pakistan, hoping for returns, given that Pakistan continues to have such heavy baggage?
Fact of the matter is that currently Gwadar port is failing, while a land link to the middle east through Pakistan is too dangerous to be viable. Friendship with Pakistan might be great to potray friendliness towards rest of the Islamic countries, but I wonder how long can that be enough.
There is nothing called permanent interests. The day China feels cost of Pakistani friendship outweigh its benefits, this lovey-dovey relationship will end.
Sure man, and India is trying to act smart by acting out a farcical situation in an attempt to malign Pakistan's glowing reputation. In fact, it was India which orchestrated the attack on Sri Lankan cricketers to stop Pakistan from playing international cricket.
[/sarcasm]
Again, we are talking about cricketers, not cricket viewing public. Big difference.
Secondly, have you forgotten Zulqarnain Haider? If a Pakistani cricketer is unwilling to play in Pakistan, why should foreign cricketers play there?
^^
Strawman arguments.... The fact of the matter is that the Indian govt. is able to provide enough security cover to international sportsmen to make them feel secure. The feeling in international community is that the Pakistani establishment is in cohoots with terrorists.
Which sane...
