I think china is ahead in some fields, that's why US fears them....China has showed some matured technology like anti-sat, laser, submarine, artillery,cyber warfare, military diplomacy.... these are fields they are likely a head till 2020...if are able to beat them in these areas we surely can...

If drdo states agni 3 range as 5500km...then what will they state for agni 5...which means agni 5 has bigger range than 5500km....stating actual range wolud make alram bells ring in western hemisphere...even now with Stated 5500km we can reach Tokyo, Moscow and half of Europe and africa...but...

I did do some range calculations on Google Earth.....Considering 5000km range Agni 5 covers entire china from bihar, west bengal, delhi etc or central India....Which have decent forest and mountain landscape ideal form camouflage....But the Chinese media still tends to portray that it will need...

what i have learnt from this projec is, it is a technology demo highway...if successful in implementing technologies....it will be extended to golden quadrilateral project.....rubber roads are ready for golden quadrilateral....only thing is of implementing new technology....
