Complete List of MRAPs, APCs & IFVs used by Pakistan Military

This list is not accurate. If you are looking solely at the PA then the M113 and its variants make up the bulk of the APC inventory. Al Talha's was never inducted by the PA as they went for the superior Al Saad. Al Talha is mainly for export as is Al Saad. The Sakb is a command vehicle for the...

Pakistan's Special Operations Forces: SSG | SSGN | SSW | SOW | SOG

Blain am I correct in stating that SOTF operates out of Tarbela? I was led to believe that the SOTF is actually the helos and aircrew dedicated to air assault missions. Is this incorrect? If the SOTF are the actual operators trained in air assault then is there a dedicated helo plus air crew...

Photos | Pakistan Police, Rangers, Airport Security, FC, LEA, Rescue & Disaster Response Agencies.

Xeric From the pics recently posted I have noticed that units are increasingly being equipped with Kevlar helmets. I know there was a plan to phase them in, funds permitting, but is it safe to assume that most if not all units in the PA, FC and Rangers now field kevlar helmets? Furthermore...

Pakistan, Germany in Surplus Helo Talks

Like most members I too find this potential deal to be perplexing. As members have already mentioned it could be for military or non military use. Just a couple of points to add to the debate: 1) Weaponising the Bo105 very much depends upon what sort of restriction clauses will be included in...

As I understand it the T56s are going to be replaced by the G3Ms (thank God!) and the MGs will be replaced by the MG1A3. The PA has rightly invested in the personal gear of your infantry man. Those currently serving are best placed to testify whether the investments in the gear is worth it. As...

Apparently the Kolchuga is sufficiently sensitive to detect US stealth aircraft from unconventional sources of RF emissions, including radiation from exhaust trails and electromagnetic interference from the engine and or radio and radar emissions (however the latter bit is debatable). The US do...

    Indigenously-built F22P Frigate Commissioned

PN have placed an order for four F23s (an improved variant of the F22P). The F22P was a learning curve for the PN and KSEW. I know the vessel has taken a lot of flak due to the absence of an effective AAD capability but the vessel was never designed to be an AAD vessel like the RN Type 45...

I don't see how and why the Ukrainians would be beholden to the Indians when it comes to defence deals! The Ukrainians can sell to whom ever they like. I know that several years ago the Kolchuga passive sensor was tested and intent of purchase expressed but the deal never materialised due to US...

Why should I use google??? You being the self proclaimed 'expert' when it comes to ToT should be able to answer my simple question? What ToT have the Indians received for upgrading the Jaguars and Mirages? The truth of the matter is Gentleman you don't know squat. You're just another fan boy...

The CS/VP3 is the Casspir MRAP. PolyTechnic of China signed a deal with MLS to share design and production know how. The Casspir's that were acquired were for trial purposes in FATA and are not a part of the PAs orbat. The PA acquired a number of Puma MRAP and Fenneks (not confirmed re the...

Pakistan Navy | News & Discussions.

The Z9D could be an interesting proposition. Are the Z9C's operating off PNS Alamgir or are they operating off the F22Ps solely? With PN's planned acquisition of 4-5 further OHPs coupled with the Turkish GENESIS upgrade and potentially Seahawks LAMPS III these vessels could potentially become...

I have not understood one sentence you have written! Its pointless entering into a debate as you clearly cannot write! FYI KSEW produced the hull of the A90Bs and thats all. SUBTICS and AIP modules were imported from France.

You said: well I suppose PAC new under construction unit has the facility to manfacture and overhaul helos thats why some talks are going on in initial stages for TOT for TAI T-129.... So PAC has the facility to manufacture helos because that is what you are saying! To manufacture anything...

    PN interested in Thunder

The Mirage squadrons are operated by the PAF and not the PN. Undoubtedly the PAF are going to replace the Mirage's with JF17 but thats all that is going to happen. The PN do not have the resources to invest in raising its own fighter squadron. They have far greater priorities to worry about.
