Agreed, having regional parliaments with some authority wouldnt hurt anyone. Except if it turns into something like the KRG in Iraq, or Catalonia in Spain etc. In the current political environment not exactly what we need.

Has positive and negative consequences. If Lira improves against Dollar the debts of the companies that are largely in Dollar could be paid off easier and having a weak currency makes exports easier. So it depends on which effect is better for the economy really.

Suleimani was suffering from Turkish blockade, I believe for example the airport in Suleimani never received any approval to fly through Turkish airspace again after the failed referendum in the KRG, unlike Erbil.
