Rafales went in only after Libyan air defences were mostly diabled by cruise missiles.
Other planes took part in strikes too like the Typhoon and Tornado, and French Mirages, so why does Rafale get all the glory?
A Tomahawk costs about $1 million. Therefore, you could get around 50+ for the cost of a modern fighter jet.
Here's the thing, you lose that 1 jet, you lose $50 million. You lose 1 cruise missile, you have 49 left.
I know, LOL - I wasn't being serious either :)
Ah yes, I understand now. Biscuits have a different meaning in America - more like bread (hence that's why it goes with soup).
What if they have night shifts?
"Football" is probably the most popular sport in the world.
Soup & Biscuits? - :bad:
"Color" has a 'u' everywhere outside America.
Those tomahawks are used mostly to hit fixed air defence sites - France and UK doesn't have stealth.
No need to
1. My point was to highlight how some posters conveniently forget the truth when accusing other countries of milking Libya and running away when the crap hits the fan, when their countries have been doing the same.
2. Your accusation that I have "suddenly forget my own...
J-10B should be roughly the equivalent of Eurofighter.
Also, considering the likely opponents PLAAF would be facing, there are times when only a fifth gen J-20 will do.
1. The Dawning 6000 will not use Intel/AMD chips - that's the whole point. It's going to be totally indigenous.
2. So what if the EU ceases fabbing Loongson chips? They're going to be the only ones losing out because there are foundries in other countries (including China) that can fab them.
No.
J-11 is the Chinese-made Su-27SK.
J-11A is a minor upgrade with some Chinese systems.
J-11B is a major upgrade. The only Russian systems left are the engines, but they too will eventually be replaced by WS-10A.
Only the external airframe is preserved.
