Its pathetic, the poor civil servants deserve a 100% or 50% pay raise, which is what the corrupt and greedfyfed secretaries and MPs are getting, what's even more pathetic is that there is no increment for private employees and the vast majority of Pakistanis work in the private sector and rich...
well i think the reason why literacy rate is low is cause the district of karachi includes many villages(goths) too, otherwise the city proper has a higher literacy rate.
BTW Baloch aren't "staying" here, most of them are natives here.

Waar was produced by Mandviwalla films, a Karachi based production house and distributed by ARY(karachi based), the same production house made Operation 021 and the recent movie Teen Bahadur was produced by Waadi animations(owned by ARY) directed by Karachiite Sharmeen...
You would be surprised how much MQM is hated in KHI
He is most likely right cause he is the biggest actor in Pakistan, and it is a fact that most large studios are based in Karachi and so are most major channels like HumTv,ARY,Geo etc
Lahore still has Lollywood, though that might be changing now.
General Raheel is an Alpha male, can't remember the last time we had such a charismatic leader whether military or civilian, though Imran Khan does come to mind but he's lost his sheen since 2013 and Raheel just AMOGS him
This is a great example of Beta male vs Alpha male
Just googled, there some more Karacittes in the dramas like Sanam Baloch,Aeyza Khan,Sarwat Gillani,Danish Taimur and Sikandar Rizvi

having 10% of the country's population and 20% of GDP vs 60% of the country's population and 65% of the GDP seems more impressive proportionally :D
but lets not turn this into another Karachi vs Lahore/Punjab flame thread:police:
yeah but still doesn't take away that there's a lot of local talent in karachi and some of the most famous faces in the drama/film industry are from karachi
Also this shift to Karachi has coincided with a boom in the drama industry
It's not exaggerated; it's always been that way.
Karachi made the dramas and Lahore made the movies since the times of PTV and it isn't about shooting in karachi; it's about where the studios are based; many dramas are filmed in northern Pakistan and the stories may be based around different...
I came across Shaan's interview on another well known Pakistani forum, I was surprised by his claim that 370 out of 372 Pakistani dramas every year are made in Karachi (produced by Karachi-based studios).
"To start with, the link between Karachi and Lahore is very important. Unfortunately...
lel the name 'Kolachi' is just a reference to the city i live in, it's the orignal name of Karachi.
I've called that member out for his racism before, but that doesn't wipe away the blatant racism directed towards muhajir people on here, you say we have to "win" Afghanistan over; well there...
