I don't think you understood what I wrote in my message, re-read it please. Read Bubblegum's post as well because his post kind of further clarifies my post.

At this point I hope BMC wins the tender, just to annoy you guys.
All jokes aside, if I think about it. I wanted Otokar to win the tender because of all the experience. But when I look at FNSS and their showing at IDEF 2017, this company are always working on improving their products. Compared...
Here is my understanding from the recent weeks I've been watching Bloomberg. From what I understood, inflation is mostly due to consumables like food. Especially meat products had the worst inflation. Demand for meat consumption in Turkey doubled in the recent years (since 2012 if I remember...
Why is the inflation sky-high? And what is the government planning on doing about it? What do the opposition party's suggest? And which one of these is in your opinion the best roadmap?
Why are the interest rates so high? What are the advantages and disadvantages? And what is the government...
The TAEC (Turkish Air Engine Company) (RR/Kale) engine is going to compete with engine's offered from Eurojet and maybe GE as well. Eurojet plans on full ToT including full rights for the engine. The head of Eurojet said this in an interview in IDEF '17 magazine, which was posted in this thread...
SSM is just keeping it's options open, but it's taking a risk here by not taking Otokar's deal. It is hoping for a better deal with the tender, but that's not guaranteed. They could end up with a worse deal. Even though I do think the probability of them landing a better deal with this tender is...
TAI did claim clean sheet design for this project. If there is co-operation with Agusta it's undisclosed. Or a least I don't know about it.
TAI has been producing helicopter parts for Agusta (fuselage among others for AW139).
I think Turkey should help Qatar but only diplomatically, try to mediate between the sides. Turkey should be aware that it also needs to keep KSA and the rest of the GCC in good terms.
I'm sure the people of all those countries are in good terms with each other, but it's the leaders that I don't trust.
Them demanding civilians returning to Qatar and blocking all borders and commercial flights, makes me fear for war and I really hope it's baseless because the last thing we...
I was under the impression that Turkey was working on satellite launch systems, and was under the assumption that manned space launch mission would come down the line. But maybe they go hand in hand or something?
I don't know buddy, I personally never wanted them to buy S400 missile's. Would've preferred Aster or Patriot for direct procurement because of the whole Nato system thing. But with the recent Saudi deal, maybe Turkey will make a similar deal like the Saudi's did and purchase Patriots and/or...
The direct procurement of air defence is more of a stopgap. Because they do have the desire to develop their own long range defence system, but the defence minister said that it would take about 5 years to develop it.
The guy says at the start, that Turkey can develop the engine for the helicopter in 15 years. But wasn't TEI already working on an engine? The TS1400? Can we expect this motor to only be ready in 15 years? Because I thought it would've been way sooner than that.
