I don't think that page is correct. Early reporting on the Altay had all kinds of mistakes, some sources were even saying it's just a licensed K2 which ofcourse is not true. At the very least K2's gun is a derivative of the Rheinmetall L55. Possibly SK slightly modified it to fire missiles...
Both Altay and South Korean K2 use licensed Rheinmetall design for their main gun. The US M1A1 Abrams also uses a Rheinmetall licensed design (but shorter).
Try reading your own links. It's clear the goal from the beginning was an electric vehicle, and the agreement between Saab and TUBITAK is co-development, not just buying some car's "blueprint". So, your commentary about being unable to build the Saab so resorting to an electric engine is BS.
Only thing I can see there is STAMP being smaller caliber compared to the other ships. When Korkut naval version is ready that gap will be filled. It's also not such a big deal because the RAM does most of the job there anyway (same for the SAM).
Verify-Sy is saying this isn't true. Interesting either way. Might be propaganda from our guys to see YPG and others' response to an imminent attack, and to keep YPG from knowing when the real attack will come. If so it's an improvement.
You know you're in the wrong timeline when Glenn Beck is doing one of the better geopolitical analyses out there. Shocking how low the US media has sunk.
S-400 must be used as part of a layered defence system to be effective, so it's very likely Korkut and Hisar systems will be used with it as the short range "layer". Then, once Hisar-U is ready, we can just replace the S-400 with that.
I saw that too but there are conflicting sources on this. Some of them may be talking about the first batch of T129 which used a slightly modified version of TopOwl, while Avci seems to be a more indigenous Aselsan design but with Thales subcontracting and which shares some components with...
It's a fact widely accepted by independent experts that the YPG is simply the Syrian wing of the PKK, which is an internationally recognised terrorist organisation. If you want to delude yourself and believe US propaganda that the YPG has no connection to the PKK, you can go do that elsewhere...

I wouldn't be too concerned about this. Aselsan is making sensors a generation ahead of this. Keep in mind that Aselsan is still a business - maybe it just didn't make economic sense to set up a production line for small, commodity sensors of this type.
