@As is - where is
The diaspora won't accept a mere apology, they want full compensation plus land. Which is why the issue will never be resolved if it continues on its present course.
@flamer84
I'll stop moaning once the EU can stop moaning about Armenians and actually take an unbiased view.
By adding fuel to the fire the EU isn't helping it's only shooting us in the foot (and itself too) .
@flamer84
It's obvious the EU doesn't want a fully independent Turkey. So they cause headaches by supporting the Armenian diaspora one day or tutoring Turkey on human rights or press freedom the other. As for the military projects the only reason they are in them is money or because they are...
There is much more serious issue: if Turkey is bullied into playing the Armenian tune this will open up the floodgates and soon Greeks, Syrian Christians and who knows what people will come with their hands open demanding compensation and land. The mere thought fills me with fury. They can't...
The Armenian diaspora's misleading show
İLNUR ÇEVIK@ilnurcevik
Western politicians are either too naïve or they are extremely sinister and do not mean well for the well-being of Turkey. The controversy over the incidents of 1915 in eastern Anatolia, where the Ottomans are blamed by those who...
Well my dear neighbor (I mean that sincerely) as long as there isn't a mutual agreement between Turkey and Armenia then it doesn't matter if the whole world realizes it we will just continue to ignore and go our own way. Make no mistake, Armenia hasn't been holding out for a simple recognition...
I see your points and they are valid. But there is the other side of the coin brother: our economy is sluggish, we are restructuring our armed forces, we are planning huge projects such as nuclear power plants and mega construction projects...this all requires money. Yet here we are spending...
We could deal with the blowback. Can't as bad as Kobane was, atleast we could give economic justification or even suggest Europe take them if they feel so strongly about it.
Although I agree that out FP has been seriously wrong and that it needs patching up.
Put a majority of them across the border. Mount snipers, lockdown the border and declare it a military zone. Move necessary military assets to the area. Engage all hostiles. Trust me it would cost way less than 5.5 $ billion
Let's hope it works out for the best. If not our militray can dish out the same medicine the mountain rats have been receiving albeit with a higher dosage:sniper:
