^^^ That was reportedly tested around 1995, which is prob. around the time US started test flying F-22s with 2D TVC. They do stuff to stay relevant in the field.

You are trying to compare what one does with technology to technology itself. China is about late 80's US militarily if not closer by Army and maybe airforce. Navy is a bit behind but catching up. You defeated US? Or did they just walked away? At what price? You did it completely on your own...

Dunno about China but when I was little/back in Taiwan it was flooded with Japanese manga, popular ones like Slamdunk and the all famous dragonball and also the slapstick like Crayon Shin Chan. There were also genre from HK and Taiwan itself but they tends to be narrower and more serious...
