    IAF Garud Commando Force

Carbines are smaller in size than rifles, hence one has to hold then in front while marching. Those rifles need to be switched for the folding butt para versions, to avoid problem of space in choppers. Miro, my point was that if the pictures are meant for PR then one might as well use proper...

    The Chindits

 Yes and thanks. I will post something here later, but a little trivia for you. Indian YOs (young officers) carry out their mountain warfare field exercies in the very same area where the Chindits trained once upon a time.

    Can Pakistan Withstand The Pressure

I would'nt bet on that assumption. For the US to retain its economic superiority, it is essential for the oil prices to be high, and it will do everything in its power to keep up those prices. The reason is that if the current growing economies of China and India may negate the dollar value, so...

Bangladesh Buys Fighter Jets From China for 96.3M

Unfortunately for Bangladesh, they may not be able to afford the JF-17 with the AESA, since the cost may go up by 35 to 40 million per aircraft. They may have have no option but to go for the cheaper version with the Grifo-7 radar. If Pakistan plays its cards correctly, it can swipe the deal...

    Historical Maps of Pakistan

Yes I am. No part of India especially the northwestern part was ever continuesly part of any indeginous Indian kingdom. The region swayed from been part of Ashoka, Maurya, Rajput Persian, Afghan and finally the British consolidated the sub-continent into one homogenous entity.

Al Khalid Main Gun Target Range

They should have pre-empted the coalition attack, instead they allowed the coalition to build up at leasure, deploy, acclimatise carry out some training exercies. The Iraqis gave the coalition the initiative. The Iran-Iraq war hardly had any examples of maneuver warfare. In clear open desert...

    IAF Garud Commando Force

Miro, Two questions for you... 1. Why are the Gardu chaps marching soviet/ communits style? i.e holding the rifle in front as against the regulated manner of holding it at the side. 2. Why is the Gardu officer, wearing a non-regulation pistol holster? I must say that it looks rather shoddy.

    Reality behind MIG-29

In May 1999 Vipers flying CAP over Skardu were BVR missile locked by Mig-29s and were unable to respond in kind. The Vipers were withdrawn and CAPs were later performed by Mirage IIIs only. But this was against the older A/B series of Vipers, against the later versions of F-16s, the Mig-29 in...

Al Khalid Main Gun Target Range

The Iraqis failed to understand the implication of world opinion. They should have pulled back into Iraq once they found a world military coalition forming up. At the same time they should have started a blitz of diplomatic maneuvers to reduce chances of a coalition attack. They just did not...

    Pictures of kargil air war.

That is what you would like to believe, however, you are yet to prove your claims with credible links. India has never denied it soldiers or pilots. Here is an archive link below from the Indian Express of 29th May 1999 (day after the Nachiketa was captured)...

Trafficked from Pakistan, raped and jailed in Saudi Arabia

This what I was told. The action was pure Bangla style - they police men and religious police were bashed up by a mob and the woman was wisked away before she was to be stoned. Apparently the SA police don't feel safe in Bangla areas.

47 confirmed dead, over 50 wounded as huge blast rocks Karachi

You are more or less correct, except the date of formation is not 1970s it was in the 80s. Please don't confuse BPLF that faught in 1973-1977 with the BLA of today. The BLA was formed by the Soviets to avenge Pakistan's assistance to the US during the Soviet-Afghan war of 1979-1989.

Trafficked from Pakistan, raped and jailed in Saudi Arabia

The Saudis are famous for such treatment to women from India too along with Filipinos, Bangladeshis and Sri Lankans. I am told that recently the Bangladeshi community in SA took drastic action for the decision by a court to stone a Bangladeshi woman for no fault of hers.
