ISI’s subterfuges in Bangladesh as India struggles to strengthen politically weakening Sheikh Hasina

Walton 4K TVs cost around the same as Samsung as LG. The company now has 4 models where it both designs and manufactures its own LED panels. Of course Walton will not have any proprietory tech as its revenues only recently surpassed 1 billion US dollars. It will take another good 5-10 years...

Bangladesh not to accept single more Rohingya: Momen

In one sense it does not matter as their total defence budget comes from their tiny gdp in the end - their economy is dead and so profits from their enterprises will not rise much in the future. As for the MN, do not be sure that BN will be able to stay ahead as Myanmar is currently building...

Bangladesh not to accept single more Rohingya: Momen

Myanmar's economy is dead and by 2027 BD's will be around 10 times as large in nominal terms. https://www.imf.org/en/Publications/WEO/weo-database/2022/October/weo-report?c=513,518,&s=NGDP_RPCH,NGDPD,&sy=2022&ey=2027&ssm=0&scsm=1&scc=0&ssd=1&ssc=0&sic=0&sort=country&ds=.&br=1

Bangladesh not to accept single more Rohingya: Momen

To be honest BD has brought this on itself. It has an economy SEVEN-EIGHT times that of Myanmar and a weaker military. Mynmar knows there are no consequences to pushing Rohingya into BD.

ISI’s subterfuges in Bangladesh as India struggles to strengthen politically weakening Sheikh Hasina

Yes, Walton is the most advanced in home electronics in S Asia for sure. It even exports compressors to Turkey who then uses them to make fridges to export to the EU. They are a fair bit behind the true giants like Samsung, LG and Sony but they have a plan and seem to be executing it...

ISI’s subterfuges in Bangladesh as India struggles to strengthen politically weakening Sheikh Hasina

They are TOTAL failures internationally and I don't think they are even doing that well in India anymore. That is what counts and not some captive home market - Walton is going to come after Samsung and LG in the Indian domestic market and that will be interesting battle as Walton beats them...

57% Indians want Hijab to be banned in schools and colleges,53% Indians feel Muslim men indulge in Love Jihad.

Pathetic from Hindus. There is nothing wrong with Hijab as the face is still shown. Lots of women of other faiths choose to wear some kind of hijab like some struct catholics etc. As for "love jihad' stop complaining and up your game Hindu men!

ISI’s subterfuges in Bangladesh as India struggles to strengthen politically weakening Sheikh Hasina

I think you are better than that dude. Remember before the British arrived BD was probably the richest region and one of the most technologically advanced on the planet. BD has caught up with India in GDP per capita PPP and this is what it is showcasing at...

ISI’s subterfuges in Bangladesh as India struggles to strengthen politically weakening Sheikh Hasina

BD is not buying Tejas as it does not meet either performance or strategic criteria. Tejas would get destroyed by JF-17 Block 2 of MAF for a start. It is called being polite and diplomatic to visit different sites in a county you are visiting. You are reading too much into the visit and there...

ISI’s subterfuges in Bangladesh as India struggles to strengthen politically weakening Sheikh Hasina

In the 2030s there will be 4 economic centres in S Asia: 1. Gujarat 2. South India 3. Mumbai 4. BD. Rest of the region, apart from cities such as Delhi and a few other pockets will still be relatively backward and reliant on these economic centres for their economic survival. What BD gives...

ISI’s subterfuges in Bangladesh as India struggles to strengthen politically weakening Sheikh Hasina

Pakistan has been in “economic crisis” since independence in 1947. That “golden decade” in the 1960s was due to massive fiscal transfers from BD. India’s economy will go from 10 times as large as Pakistan’s to 20 times in 15 years time. BD’s security and sovereignty must rest with its...

ISI’s subterfuges in Bangladesh as India struggles to strengthen politically weakening Sheikh Hasina

It is fine and India is not bullying BD. BD and India have common economic interests to lift themselves out of poverty within 10-15 years.

‘Türkiye, Bangladesh determined to boost trade, cultural ties at optimum level’

You have fair point but the problem is there is only a certain amount of investment that is available in the country as a function of it's total GDP and wealth. Most companies need to borrow in order to invest and especially when you are doing something new. There is only a limited amount of...

‘Türkiye, Bangladesh determined to boost trade, cultural ties at optimum level’

BD is trying to do as much as it can but it cannot do everything at the same time. The focus will be heavily on SEZs(Special Economic Zones) this decade as the plan is to get 100 set up by 2030 and employ 10 million people so that no BD'shi needs to work in inhumane conditions under the...

Animated Chart: Remittance Flows and GDP Impact By Country

BD needs to get all those SEZs set up as soon as possible and build many thousands of factories to employ millions of low to semi-skilled BD'shis. The people must stop as soon as possible going overseas for work to be exploited and 2030 is a good target to make this happen.

Mega power projects in Bangladesh create $2b debt a year

Where did you get this 25% number from? It is 16% devaluation since one year ago. I notice you are new and wondering if you are another Nigiri reincarnation?

‘Türkiye, Bangladesh determined to boost trade, cultural ties at optimum level’

BD should export a lot more textiles to Turkey and in return import a lot more weapons for both cost/capability and strategic reasons. The two economies are complementary and there is no reason that two way trade should not run into many billions every year.

PM Hasina wants Bangladesh’s per capita income to be $12,000 by 2041

That is mainly due to the fact that BD needs to import most of the cotton it needs to produce garments, unlike a lot of other producers like India and Pakistan. We are looking at around 10% of the manufactured price of garments here and so when you take this out, the value-add in garments...

PM Hasina wants Bangladesh’s per capita income to be $12,000 by 2041

Not but it will be in the future as BD industrial technology advances at a faster rate.
