Iran Plans For A World Without America

How is Ahmedinejad a modern day Hitler? Last time I checked, it was America who has been unilaterally occupying nations which has been widely recognised as illegitimate. Germany before the world war ii and America now share more common characteristics than Iran : wars they can't afford, a...

Lawyers sent to jail pending hearing

I watching this in the news today in total disbelief. The police wants woman MP in remand for 10 days for seditious charges, (for calling to throw away the constitution in the dustbin). I think Awami League has crossed limits and now we are officially heading for Fascism. Any one who remotely...

    Tajikistan bans youth from mosques

You actually said that with a straight face. Zionism and political Islam are both non secular and promote ethnic cleansing of the each other. Zionism under any definition in the world does not fit in as "secular".

Syria Hama Siege: 'People Are Being Slaughtered Like Sheep'

What I don't understand is, how can democracy work in the middle east? Everyone is so bent on destroying each other. The tribal attitude does not help either. And no one is ruling out the chance of an islamist/far right party coming in power. America has been secretly funding the...

Italian MPs’ panel OKs burqa ban

I think you are missing the point I am making. Anyways, I don't have to go to a few hundred years to say christians are radicals. Look at most african christian states like Uganda.

Italian MPs’ panel OKs burqa ban

In Saudi, they behead people for less. I am not proud of Saudi and have no respect for the Saudi people, but Saudi should be compared to Vatican City, not USA or any other Western European nation because of its religious importance. Seeing your attitude towards a minority group scares me that...

Italian MPs’ panel OKs burqa ban

why not ban Baseball bats then? Criminals will use anything they can to commit crimes and you cannot take away basic rights just for that. Off course, there are places where women are required to show their faces and I do believe the women should have an option to/ or not to use that service...

Italian MPs’ panel OKs burqa ban

"Their country, their rules" What do you mean its their country? It is the 3rd generation of migrants now living their and still fighting for their basic rights. Last time I checked, all the protestors were british citizens. Thank you, but they are already in their country now :)

Italian MPs’ panel OKs burqa ban

Fact yes but the main question is, is it significant? Do you think most of the robbery took place because of the Burqa? Is it representative? what percentage of the total bank robberies had Burqa on? Personal freedom is a very big sacrifice for a country which has strived so much to gain it at...

    Tension along Tamabil border

Socialism never works. The new constitutions changes : democracy, secularism, socialism and nationalism, all four are pretty much a failed ideology at least in Bangladesh. We have to replace socialism with a more flexible ideology, preferably free market like the one Zia used during his period.

    Tension along Tamabil border

Hate is a very strong word here. Jamaat has always been and will be in the future of Bangladeshi politics. But they do have certain elements that I strongly oppose and I do believe they work better as a coalition with BNP heading the party. The BNP-Jamaat alliance is pretty acceptable.

    Tension along Tamabil border

The fights with between BSF and BGB is not like you think it is. Matter of fact, I think in 2002, the BDR dismantled the BSF when they tried to occupy(as usual) lands illegally. Almost 20 or so BSF soldiers were killed. The current awami regime is not doing its job. Hopefully, when the next BNP...

Islamic extremists set up ‘Sharia zones’ in UK

Okay, is it just me or do we see the pictures of the same group of individuals in every extremist meetings? Its always anjem chowdhury and his little crew appearing on every islamophobe website available and according to some sources, he claims state benefits from the government. The perfect...

Bangladeshi hacked to death by BSF men on Lalmonirhat border

20 million Bangladeshi illegal immigrant is a cheap political tactic used by some politicians to meet their ends. How do you even know it is 20 million if it is illegal and if you know the exact number, why is it hard to deport them? And why would any sane Bangadeshi move to India is beyond me...

Bangladesh will moveto be connected with Indo-Pak-Afg gas pipeline

Going through your previous posts, I do admire your optimism for this current regime and how you always try to look at it objectively. I do agree with you that some Bangladeshis go a bit overboard with the paranoia, and it is also equally true that India has used the 1971 card a bit too much...

Anders Behring Breivik was an Ardent Supporter of Israel and Hindutva

Any source to your claims? If there is any truth to it, why would a white nationalist seek help from a Pakistani origin?

Turkey most popular country among Arab nations, poll finds

overambitious but admiringly hopeful to say the least. The muslim world is divided in its core. Even two political parties in Palestine seem to be killing each other(Fatah And Hamas). Not to mention, the recent break up North and South Sudan, Gaddafis crime against humanity and many more. Your...

Leader of English defence league_Terror attack like oslo can happen in EU

Using your logic, Germany had every right to prosecute jews as they were only trying to protect their heritage. You genuinely believe the reasons they give out to justify their crime? I believe groups like EDL and "extremists" are symptoms to a greater cause. And that cause being, in my...

    Islamophobia Run Wild

It is surprisingly astonishing that the media constantly belittles all of the people in Islam because they don't speak out against "extremism". But that is a complete fallacy. Matter of fact, the media becomes almost literally deaf when muslims start speaking out against extremism, because there...
