We call it Arunachal Pradesh. This geographical entity was formed by Indian Govt after seperating it from Assam. Tawang and West Kameng districts have links with Tibet and Bhutan. The rest of Aruanchal was under the Ahoms rule. So how can China claim entire Aruanchal? Did the ahoms were ruled...

Teach Pakistan a lesson like 1965: Hazare

Failure yes. Defeat No. It was a stalemate. You held our land, we held yours. At the end truce was reached. I don't see how it is a victory or defeat for either. Had the war lasted a month more, there would have been a clear victor

'Sikh Youth of Punjab' holds anti-indian rally at Amritsar

How come that translates into justice. They were not made army chief or Pm because they are sikhs. they were meritorious hence got the top posts. the criminals responsible for 1984 must be hanged. If Owaisi can be arrested, these fanatics too should be dealt with with a firm hand.

While I agree completely with you. My point is better late thn never. The point is that he did talked tough, that should matter. He however didn't vouched for Pakistani blood. My objection as only with the point that his speech was declared a political stunt without even thinking of what Sushma...

Manmohan Singh talks tough, says 'there cannot be business as usual' with P

So what other option you suggest? As pointed out many times in this forum we have a lot to lose from a conflict then them. Opting for peace is the more logical thing. Perhaps you weren't around when i advocated covert operations inside Pakistan. But is it sane to call for 10 pakistani heads...

Manmohan Singh talks tough, says 'there cannot be business as usual' with P

See I am not a congress supporter or anything. Neither am I a great believer of democracy more so in India. What ruffled my feathers was the different approach towards the two speeches. I see them similar. I agree that peace should be our focus (although we should present a tough stance and...

Manmohan Singh talks tough, says 'there cannot be business as usual' with P

So, according to some members the speech by Sushma wasn't a political stunt but the official statement of the Hon'ble PM is a political stunt. I see hypocrisy here.

Manmohan Singh talks tough, says 'there cannot be business as usual' with P

In that case, the worst kind of political stunts.
  17. Lyrical Mockery

Manmohan Singh talks tough, says 'there cannot be business as usual' with P

What's wrong is how some people differentiate between the two statements. For some Sushma is suddenly this patriotic leader while in reality it was as much a political stunt as the speech by the PM is taken to be.

Manmohan Singh talks tough, says 'there cannot be business as usual' with P

wasn't Sushma's speech also an election stunt then? Still better then the misery the warmongers would bring to millions in the subcontinent.
