Pakistani software outfit Pepper.pk breaks into Global Top 5 Blackberry Apps!

Depends on the company... I've worked with some Pakistani IT companies that regularly deliver to huge US corporations, like Dell for example. Thanks!

Pakistani software outfit Pepper.pk breaks into Global Top 5 Blackberry Apps!

They have plenty of titles for the iphone. Their cricket game (Cricket World Championship 20) is pretty good. My favourite is their iPhone game, Skitrix, which is a mixture of Scrabble and Tetris. Try it if you use the iPhone.

Pakistani software outfit Pepper.pk breaks into Global Top 5 Blackberry Apps!

This is pretty significant news... I can't recall another piece of software developed in Pakistan that made it as big on the consumer software scene. #5 in the world, across all BB app categories is pretty huge. Great to see successes like these in Pakistan. The software industry is very...

If by "100% backing" you mean imposing an embargo, then yes, it was certainly the case. Brush up on your history, Sir.

Pakistan to remove visa for Turkish businessmen

If and when you come, you must let me know. I travel very often so there is a slight chance I may not be in Lahore, but if I am, I would love to show you around.

Ideas for next years Kashmir uprising

Guys, once again, this is unhelpful... Pakistan and India's positions as known by the masses are pretty hard positions. Yet, we know that in REALITY, these positions are not quite as hard because apparently nationalist leaders on both sides were able to agree to a compromise. Thus, it is...

Ideas for next years Kashmir uprising

A referendum to determine national direction is done at a national level, not at a district or provincial level. It has to be done in all of Kashmir in order to be reflective of the will of the Kashmiri people, otherwise you would have meaningless and false results... sort of like having a...

Ideas for next years Kashmir uprising

One can go on and on about this issue, as we have in the past. But to me, the situation can be reduced to a simple set of facts. 1) MOST IMPORTANTLY, we know that there is a mutually acceptable solution that has been discussed and agreed to at the highest levels. However, we also know that...

    Our Disgusting Ambassador Haqqani

He claimed that Hatf-IIs were a violation of the MTCR and this is factually inaccurate. Very subjective, borderline poetry, so nothing for me to respond to. I fail to see the connection, but given your usual deflections and assumptive accusations, it doesn't surprise me to see you...

    Pakistan snubs Cameron visit

Look up the meaning of the word prudent before you brandish it in this context. The phrase that fits your sentence above is "childish and stupid". By this coin, India should have immediately left all international organizations that ever criticized it. And should have given back all the aid...

    Pakistani Fashion

Drop it. You obviously are out of your depth here. It's not the sardars that wear skirts. Large sections of society did. And did you even watch the video? The "common pakistani" guiding the camel... did you catch him stare or act appalled? And by the way, I take it you've never spent...

    Pakistani Fashion

How old is Pakistani society? Since 1947? Well in that case, yes, skirts were very much a part of our society. So was ballroom dancing. There were/are regular galas and ballroom dances all over the country. They used to be a lot more mainstream then they might be at the moment. Have you never...

What about this is western? Where do you think Belly Dancing was pioneered? Are most of these clothes western? If anything, they have middle eastern cum sub continental influences. And let's not go off course here. Your opinions are your own. In your home you can practice any level of...

China steadily closing gap with India as top BPO

Very important trend and not one to miss for anyone in the IT industry. I've been following this for a while and have actually been thinking of writing something about it. China's IT outsourcing business is also growing much faster than India's and most estimates now suggest that it will soon -...

Zardari to ink $7.6bn gas pipeline pact

Yes, you are right. With all these worries about disruption, liability, penalties, "inconvenience", delayed payments and extra expense etc. I think this is just too much hassle for India. It's not worth it. I think the Indian policy of staying out of pipeline projects that transit Pakistan is...

    Our Disgusting Ambassador Haqqani

I hold us responsible, not Zardari. If we got 100,000 people to camp outside the Presidency and another 50,000 to mount a peaceful blockade of the foreign office and refuse to leave until Haqqani was fired, I wonder how long this snake would continue to survive.
