18 MiGs lost since 2005, says Antony

IAF is still flying many airframes that were built in late 60s and early 70s, I am sure once those are phased out along with Mig-23/27, the crash rate will come down… PAF had also had some pretty bad spells with older Mirages and F-7s but somehow the trend has been contained...

IAF violated Pakistan air space| Forced to return

The answer lies in the TIMINGS of the incursion… You are right that PAF and IAF had been playing these teasing games for last 60 years just to check each others response or may be just for the heck of it…. Day before yesterday, there was news all over here that a Russian Bear entered...

    Air Force Question Thread

Very right Sir….On a lighter note , F-6s could never come to terms with Mirage’s split S, and the Mirage guys always chickened out against F-6s in scissors….:smokin:.........Good old days….:police:

    Air Force Question Thread

When a scramble is ordered, whichever aircraft are on ADA rush to intercept intruders…Its NOT like this that F-7s will only scramble against Migs and F-16s against M-2k or SU-30s: system doesn’t work like this….Sometimes aircraft are scrambled from the two different bases as well and one might...

3 foreign fighter jets violate Pak airspace

Perhaps in next few days we will witness a mad rush by media to dig out and report any incursion even though if it never happened…. An unnecessary hype, false coverage and dodgy headlines will be in abundance…Probably a scheduled Qatar Airways flight from Doha will be reported too…:tsk...

IAF violated Pakistan air space| Forced to return

A corridor of 30 Nautical miles (around 60 KMs) on both sides of Intl border is not to be flown by fighters unless destination lies within that corridor ( e.g. Lahore) or with a prior permission…As soon as any high speed enters a corridor, a scramble is initiated…So anyone who thinks that 4 KM...

Indian female spy arrested in Pakistan (Pak-Afghan Border: Indian Terrorism)

Big chunk of interrogation…..a little bit of torture….a teeny amount of teasing and taunting….while she will be deprived of sleep and food, it will again be repeated by further interrogations…….BUT whatever you are thinking, is not going to happen.;)

    About 9/11

I have been instructor and have seen that how those 10-15 hours guys perform….They can’t fly a damn Cessna 152 in a straight line for continuously 1 minute or do a steep turn without loosing few thousand feet, let alone perform the same manoeuvres on a Boeing 767 with such an accuracy while also...
