Vietnam gets alot of floods so I'm curious to see how we will handle having a nuclear power plant. That could put South China, Laos, Cambodia in danger if a fukushima happened to Vietnam.
@NiceGuy
I know you feel that having a nuclear weapon makes the country feel 'safer' but what's the point if it will put Vietnam under sanctions such as the ones that Iran and North Korea received? If Vietnam builds nuclear weapons, even if we claim we won't use it, we will lose alot of...
No way China would attack US first. Their economy relies on trading with US. They also lack ways to project power so that massive army won't be going anywhere very quick.
You reserve the right to try.
I don't want to go off topic but Japan is one of the reasons why asian country was introduced to the U.S. Their movies, celebrities, electronics, anime, etc served as a bridge to asian culture, much like Jackie Chan and Bruce Lee. What do you think of S.Koreans then? They're following Japan's...

north koreans can't afford internet and those who can are separated from the outside world :omghaha:
We don't hate each other for no reason, look at all the territory disputes and past wars. Also, don't think that the people on this forum is a good example to all. I've known plenty of Indians, Vietnamese and Chinese getting along perfectly fine in my school.
I don't know if China would try to end the war quickly. When you say ending a war quickly, I can only assume by using more destructive weapons but I doubt that'll work since what's the point of retaking a country only to destroy the country and kill so many of its people.
I have to agree...
The point isn't to make Taiwan win a war against China; that's just impossible due to China's sheer population, natural resources and spending power. The point is to make war too expensive for China so they would be less motivated to try anything against Taiwan.
Its not colonialism I'm talking about. If China wants to rent land from Ukraine and Ukraine agrees, then sure, why not. I'm just wondering what if Ukraine has lots of hidden resources that they are not aware of. Is China allowed to take advantage of this?

Ukraine better not regret this in the future. Russia definitely regretted selling Alaska to USA only to learn that there are tons of undiscovered oil in Alaska.
There's a stigma for your companies, it's called "Made in China". Once you lose your cheap labor advantages, your country's products will have no advantages over any other foreign company's.
