    Chasing the Dragon

Meaning? Sheeple exist in all societies, but I suppose what you mean is they can make their own political decision about their government. In which case, yes they can. If one party wants to raise taxes, another to lower it, sheeple included get to decide. That's not always a good...

    Chasing the Dragon

The "benevolent dictator" does not receive any money for personal usage. The money would belong to the people still, but the central authority would make decisions on where it would go. It isn't a case that one set of people (the party heads) get more money than everyone else. That wouldn't be a...

    Chasing the Dragon

I suppose a family unit could be a Communist replica. What would the Capitalist equivalent be? A dysfunctional family? One kid leaves school at 15, the other becomes a professor, parents end up living the high life and squandering everything? It does in the US but even now you see more...

    The SAUDIfighter Typhoon??

good thread. Saudi being able to produce Typhoons is good for it. They can then export them to other countries perhaps? It would not be a problem to teach the Saudis how to produce it either. The only problem would be that the Typhoon is becoming dated as a piece of technology and...

    Chasing the Dragon

A purely Communist society is possible. It may not be best for every country just as capitalism or even democracy may not be. Communism doesn't mean everyone is equal in thoughts and ideas. In fact a true Communist society could not function if everyone thought the same things. Communism...

India in Transition>Dangerous Misperceptions: Chinese Views of India’s Rise

it's a proven theory. so far the indians on here have proved it. the examples you've been giving are breeder reactors which aren't cutting edge but a waste of time. it would be like me giving you an example that pakistan is ahead of india in sanitation technology (which it is) even though...

In Pakistan, a pattern of disappearances

i'm not sure all this is true. aside from human right organizations, who do do good work, where's the evidence. if person c tells some human rights organizations that person d has been kidnapped then it is sometimes classed as an alleged disappearance. i'm not saying it's untrue either.
