Malaysia considering to expell Dr Zakir Naik

This guy is a) - A religious supremacist and b) Stupid enough to blurt his feelings out in the open. His entire shtick was taking a piece of scripture, and declare his scripture is correct, others are wrong. Why? Well, because he said so. If any Hindu did this in Pakistan, they would been...

Kashmir emergency 'threatens good relations between communities in the UK'

A pipsqueak of a country like Britain and its PM - our boy Boris - isn't in a position to 'act' over anything that India does. America can. But the guy currently in charge there can't find India, nay, Asia on a map. Khalid would be better off directing his efforts to OPEC to ban oil supplies to...

India’s step is dangerous and wrong: New York Times

Look, hate to break the party, but NYT is doing this solely because US needs Pakistan for the time being. Once Afghan exit is complete they will blissfully forget it. I don't support what GoI has done in Kashmir but NYT is simply calming nerves here. Once they are out of Afghanistan, they will...

Imran orders restoration of previous naan, roti prices

I don't think any liquid fuel is subsidized anywhere in the subcontinent. Diesel is taxed a bit less, but it is still taxed. The key difference is that Pakistan taxes far less than India does. Cooking LPG and electricity are subsidized for the lower slabs in India too however.

Imran orders restoration of previous naan, roti prices

No. Fuel isn't subsidized in Pakistan. At least not petrol. Your government simply imposes less tax on fuel. In India a whopping 80-100% tax (center and province combined) is imposed on petrol. Yes, we pay nearly double the international market price. BD is same as India.
