Desperately trying the last tricks to save the economy, unsuccessfuly i must add.
Are you even living in Turkey?
Some of my relatives are die hard Erdogan fanatics and even they admit they are having a hard time right now, how can you say nothing happened?
Not for long though, it will soon be over if Erdo keeps being stubborn.
You guys say it has been a good strategy from him, im really curious what his strategy is.
Which is a very bad tradeoff, F-35 might be more expensive but Turkey was producing parts and was gonna become maintainance hub for them and would make billions just like with F-16s, aside from the invaluable experience in high tech industry.
Not to mention how much more effective a F-35 is...
The Chinese friends seem to think otherwise though.
But they also believe that Europe is fighting eachother and everybody praises China over here while the truth is the countries are in good solidarity apart from some black sheeps.
Not my opinion but a failure of UK bureaucracy, UK sought the export permission on monday but promised the full cargo on the weekend before, its not Turkeys fault when UK politicians make false promises, either way the rest of the 84 tonnes shipment got delivered a couple days later...
And...
Well then you are not well informed.
You can hardly compare Turkeys production capacities with that of Chinas which has more than 15 times the population but Turkey for its size has sent considerable amount of aid which include PPE and Medical Supplies around the world, including to China...
Ohh yeah now i remeber the project, i saw a video long time ago why this project is not viable, the arguments were scientific and plausible so lets see if it will materialize in the future.
I dont understand the sentiment among Chinese who think they are the only ones able to manufacture goods and the rest of the World is doomed without them, if anything then this crisis showed that the opposite is the case.
