Videos of our Mirage III's back during the days when they were in Royal Australian Airforce service, quite a bit of low level flying along with A-A and A-G work.
I prefer being a realist rather than being over optimistic, sometimes it's better to be critical instead of over celebrating something which gives the impression that you are basically hiding your own failures under the carpet. Secondly I am critical because I've a brother who was in the air...
Even if we had shot down all their CAP's on 27th February would that have washed our failures on the night of 26th,don't think so.
On a side note most people in here were rooting for AM Paracha for his celebrity like status. They forget the fact that at the top level atleast in the Airforce...
I'm not saying it shouldn't have happened, my point is a response should have been given on the night of 26th especially when the buffer zone was crossed and the clearance was already there. We have been clapping our hands ever since then but no one has ever thought of the failures of 26th...
Problem is the standard buffer zone was crossed that night and no response was shown from our side which only showed the limitations in our doctrine. Many people say that the Indian violation was only for a few kilometres but from what I've heard from people having knowledge of things that was...
Air Commodore Hameed Qadri Base Commander Paf Minhas died flying an F.7P.
Group Captain Asad OC flying Masroor died flying a Mirage, sadly a CFIT.
Air Commodore Shafqat Base Commander Paf Rafiqui died in a Mirage due to bad weather.
Now all this happened in Pakistan airforce in the last 2...
@Windjammer, this is a screenshot from the video you posted of ACM's farewell. The HUD looks like that of a JF-17 showing a missile launch. To me it looks more like an IR guided missile but I could be wrong.
You can see it at 05:13,not sure if it's anything related to 27th February though.
90's was a lost decade for Pakistan airforce as a whole, the F.16's remained grounded for sometime because of lack of spares and on top of that the lack of BVR capability pushed the airforce on the back foot.
They were deprived the Mirage 2000-5 because of politics and lack of money so I'm not...
The first blue on blue incident happened in 1965 war when a 24 squadron RB.57F which was flown by Squadron leader M.Iqbal with Flt.Lt Saifullah Lodhi as his navigator was shot down over Rahwali airfield by own AAA,both died.
Other than F/L Afzal Jamal Siddiqui who was shot down by his CO,most...
It's too late to change the narrative now,the world might have believed their claim of shooting down a JF-17 or Mirage if they had made that claim there and then. Also they don't seem to convince themselves that the recovery of 4 missiles from the wreckage of the MiG.21 simply means that no...
Let's finish this argument here. All the videos that come out of our flypast show the chief sitting in an aircraft without showing the whole aircraft just to give the impression to public that he's the one flying the aircraft while in reality he is just the GIBS.
As I said before it's...
Accept the fact tht I've always contradicted you for giving wrong information. Secondly the same thing happens in the videos on our side as well where the cheif sits in one aircraft and then another one flies.
Cheers
Let me bust the bubble for you. It's not a good thing to find flaws in everything your enemy does, sometimes it's good to appreciate them.
Although his physique might not be the best for flying but he is still actively flying various single seat aircraft while our chiefs seem to like sitting in...
