    A Capex of 10 Billion will require a certain level of operational profit to meet ROI. My query was related to this considering how loss making PR has been in last so many years. If this line does become viable, this alone will transform transport sector in Pakistan.

    Is this new railway line economically viable? Or, will require Govt subsidies to run ? 10 Billion USD is huge amount to invest in a single line. Especially considering how Railways is run in Pakistan. Sharifs seem to have a penchant for flashy big projects which later drains government resources.
