Well India has R-27 ER/ET variant in their stock with 100+ km range. I don't think bvr missile range was issue. A couple of things may be one of possibility. One- They were clueless what to do and couldn't react aggressively. Two- Radar on SU-30 MKI wasn't able to lock target at 100+ km range...

Both aircrafts downed by F-16. Next will be made by JF-17 Thunder. I want to see those members from Indian Side which claims that Su-30MKI is a mini awacs and it will destroy PAF plane before PAF plane see it on radar :woot:
