No one has asked for the integration of a millimetric band radar (although the HELINA will have a millimetric band seeker); quite simply because the MoD, the forces and the OEM have, as always, not sat down and drawn up a concrete plan that meets the requirements of the forces and charts out a...
For anyone who has checked the DRDO's publications on their precision munitions program, specially the detailed bit about the the new guidance kit and tail unit they've been testing, it becomes pretty clear how far we've come with regard to MEMS.
The research in solid fuel, grain, material is...
@SarthakGanguly Red flag this one, earmark him for incineration, trying to be the peace maker. No one shall douse the fire of eternal hatred that rages between the right born Indians and the Lungians. Just ask @BDforever, he knows well that he shall meet his end by my hand.
@Cortana
I am wondering, what will look more aesthetically appealing, a collar around your neck or your carcass being carried away to the depths along with your countrymen like so much flotsam?
Oh my, you spoke too soon.
After all I am yet to warm up on this thread and you are well aware of the absolute disregard I and the gentleman I tagged in the previous post have for Bangladeshi lives when it comes to achieving our goal for the greater good.
Won't matter once we get in. 8-)
And get in we will. After all, once we have the necessary benefits we can get about on executing the long shopping list we have (we simply cannot build enough plants to meet our projected requirements, its an issue of quantity today rather than technology), and...
I like selfies, but then I'm easy on the eyes, perhaps the mullah in question just didn't like what he saw on his phone's screen after he took his first fateful snap.
He is what we have. Is he what we need? Certainly not. Neither is a single leader of ours, not a single one. But, we the people of this nation have never been good enough, not near good enough, to do justice to the vision that is Bharat so why quibble. You will get what you deserve, and our...
I wasn't commenting upon my appreciation in terms of aesthetics but in terms of edge alignment and contouring. This is a good effort, in terms of air-frame shaping, for LO/VLO performance.
And had we accepted the EJ offer what would we have gotten? Why does this false definition of ToT...
I like the latest iteration.
The angle of the canted vertical stabilizers. The fuselage and wing form. Unfortunately we cannot see the inlets from the front to fully appreciate the unique shape.
The Americans bring with them unique opportunities. At this point it is likely, not guaranteed...
Tell that to folks who still think, and I mean a lot of folks, that Rafale will somehow bring in AESA and engine "tech". Of course the moment you see the terms "tech" and "bringing" being thrown around you know there is a problem. Money doesn't "talk", not in this case, most of the nations treat...
At best ToT is the know how and never the know why. Or, to put it in more accurate terms, M-ToT. Allows maintenance and overhaul, even so many of the components have to be sourced from the OEM, or at least the raw material (special alloys), or well the machines used in the assembly themselves...
I am more concerned about getting the production standards up. Conceiving and building the radar is now within our means, lets just hope it get converted into a bankable product.
Besides at that rate the open source publications of the DRDO would have doomed national security by now. :p:
As for Uttam, patience children, it will emerge in good time and given the "agile beam" function and the characteristic robustness of a solid state aperture it will be a game changer.
At this point even if they come to their senses the MoD might try to scuttle the deal. The capital outlay of the previous years and the current year have no provision yet for paying the percentage of acquisition cost required as the first payment. Unless some fresh outlay is mandated over and...
