Tracking and monitoring goes both ways. It is quite possible that the Indian radars themselves also failed to track the launch. Guesswork on my part, but the missile was launched accidently, then the fact hidden by the crew/unit to escape punishment, and Indian command finally figuring it out...

All I can say is they are probably right. Very likely Pakistan donated them something not fit for consumption. I wouldn't put it past Pakistanis

NH90 is not a good choice for PN. The most likely induction will be Z-20F/J though I think we should have a shore based chopper with better capabilities like the AW101, even if in fewer numbers though unlikely given how expensive these are.
