Remittances are just about enough to stop us drowning for now. But if other countries continue outpacing us in growth, our endemic lack of reforms will eventually be sorted out via angry mobs of starving peasants who are backed by angry low/middle class Pakistanis.
I sure hope the elite's...

Your interpretation is unfounded IMO. If we want to make unfounded...
Remittances were never the issue for Pakistan, on the CAD side it's weak export competitiveness relative to huge imports.
To illustrate this point, you can see the here breakdown.
IMF + remittances are the plaster taped atop a gangrenous wound. The last government didn't even bother to plaster...
You've not answered, instead we've hopped from one tangential remark to another, first you say I'm bringing up too many points, now you're saying I'm on an ego trip. Pls get back on the substance. Why not give me a counterargument instead of these weird remarks that have nothing to do with the...
I've pointed at your inconsistency, you can protest, but I'd like to hear you address it at the point that I've explained. Why is it okay to repeatedly call a government corrupt, useless, impotent, subservient, etc. But when the term hybrid is applied repeatedly (by your own definition) is that...
Since 2014, there have been conspiracies to remove the previous government and PM, and install this one. They are only claims and accusations for now. I have no credibility to prove them here, the history on this is yet to be written. Wait till the current crop retires.
Simple allegations...
It's simply calling a spade or spade, previous governments also paid homage to the hybrid system in major ways, but there efforts made to bring this government in on a significant scale, hence why it is proportionately targeted as hybrid. If we falsely assume that their level of interference...
We're classified as a hybrid system and there's a lot of truth to it. Army interference is only alleged of course, but it's there. Even if one only considers the level of elite capture of Pakistan's society and politics, we can still classify the current system alone on that basis as "hybrid".
Let’s hope it doesn’t reach the same destructive proportions at last time. It’s an easy way to earn cheap economic performance at the expense of the long run.
I sort of hope they don't kick IK out of power, it might be a bit better to let him be the only PM in our history to complete a full tenure. And then let his fate be decided by an election. A democratic end to an undemocratic effort.
I say the same when I come across Indians like this. It's super refreshing and reassuring. As if we've made no progress since the mid-90s.
It's folks like this that help the state of Pakistan survive being in rivalry with a giant neighbour. However, it is a double-edged sword, they shouldn't be...
Pakistan should use every (what little) lobbying capability we have in the EU to make sure any attempt is dead on arrival. Unfortunately, our public image is awful and we have very little in the way of any natural constituency.
If France moves anything like this, we should not hold back in...
