No, that's mostly because people use sites like imgur and then they delete the files after some years. Instead users should use the attachment here on the forum to display images. Try saving file and uploading.

There seems to be an email verification bug where users using msn/hotmail/live are affected. They are sometimes stuck with verifying email but email is not sent. We are looking to fix this issue soon.
