i dont think it was overconfidence. but i believe pakistanis get cheesed when indians talk and dream abt prosperity in our country. because when they look at their country they cant even dream about any sane development. i am happy so say that no matter how long it takes we will reach the top.

dude have a look at number of engineers, scientists, doctors muslim countries produce and then find the % of their population. then do same for other religions and countries. i bet the results will be horrific. talent needs to be found and encouraged and nourished in a way that he can contribute...

thats partially true. although muslims have made a few discoveries in the past. but now their countries neither have the environment nor the talent where any sane activity can happen. discoveries done by muslims are insignificant compared to their population.

if u neglect r&d, u will be hit pretty badly in the future. after all how long u can keep importing the technologies?
