I endorse that. China's economy is far stronger and has demonstrated already that their weapons technology is improving day by day. Russia OTOH has seen stagnation and delays on a lot of their systems that have been conceived years/decades ago. Collaboration with China is far more beneficial...
Pakistan doesn't have air missile technology (declared) and doesn't need to. Plenty of them are available without sanctions from China at least. Nice to see JF-17 as a more regular test platform for integration of such systems though.
But what Pakistan has that is probably better than China...

Jokes aside, this bird looks larger than I had thought. I'm unsure if its fuselage/paint is as advanced as US technology but body curves/angles and concealed weaponry sure improves radar imprint. I'm still concerned about the ferry range...

It's really interesting to read these posts from several years ago where people are projecting (possibly whimsically) the development/induction of platforms. Somethings have surely developed from back then and others are...well pretty much where they started.
Trying to guess additional customers is fruitless. If Pakistan had more leverage and the ME countries more brains, we would have set up joint production, training and development of future projects (with better funding from them) for better independence. Alas their independence is not as dear...
