China has just started the ground testing for the next gen turbofan engine, and it is likely the one for the 6th gen aircraft, but the article got deleted again. I saw it in Meyet, but I couldn't find it anymore.

AI is really just smarter software. No doubt it will used in future aircraft. Mind-reading could be easily implemented as monitoring the state of the pilot's consciousness, like when he got passed out due to high -G or due to sleepinesss. I am not sure what other functions could that be useful, right now.

6-gen turbofan started a long time ago, probably before 2000. I have read somewhere China started working on the TWR 15-20 engine back in 2000. So an engine for TWR of 10-15, must have started before 2000.

I assume the engine for 6-gen fighter is an engine with TWR 10-15, since the engine for j-20 is already above 10, already.

Mr. Daokou claimed to have personally seen the core of the WS-15 back in the 1990s. And Right now China is testing the STOVL version of the WS-15 also according to him.

I do believe China's 6th gen aircraft engine will have a TWR 15-20. And the chief designer of the J-20 is confident that it will have its maiden flight in 2025.

the 6-gen will be a very fast and very large plane to carry a lot of fuel.

i don't find the reports of stovl engine credible because there is no need.

Now, the AC strike group as a long range strike arsenal will be replaced by the ASBM and HGV, and it will switch on the on focus of the land attack. And the LHD will also need to act like a mini AC, hence the STOVL engine is needed.

We don't copy them. The US is using their naval power to show off their global supremacy, while China is showing its global supremacy with its superior hypersonic weapons. So China's navy will switch to another role which is focusing on the land attack.

This new strategy is claimed by Mr. Daokou, since he has a good record of reliability and is probably a military think tank of the Chinese government.

From beginning, the land battle was decisive to win a war, then it was replaced by the naval battle since the WWI/WWII. Now the decisive victory will be focused on the space warfare.

china is very far from having air-supremacy, the talk of naval war and amphbious landing is ver pre-mature.

until china has 1000 j-20 an another 200 B-20, china won't have air supremacy.

BTW, the STOVL version of the WS-15 is a strong evidence that the WS-15 has already entered into the mass production stage.

You need to trust Mr. Daokou, he is not those online big shrimps who spread the nonsense. China has developed the STOVL version of the WS-15 for its purpose, and it is by far better than its F135 counterpart.
