The crystal blades used by the WS-15 can withstand 2000°C, whilst it is 1700°C for the F135.

F119 = 1500°C
F135 = 1700°C
WS-15 = 2000°C

The max thrust of f119 is not 156kn, and max thrust of f135 is not 190kn. It is listed that the dry thrust of f119 is 116kn, and if we assume that's 60% of the wet thrust, that would give us 193kn.

And f135's dry thrust is listed as 125kn, and assume that's 60% of the wet thrust, that would give us 208.3kN.

Somebody forget the simple physics, when they assume just classify the top thrust, and not the dry thrust, would keep their secrets safe.

And by using your temperature table of the alloys, we could safely assume, the performance of WS-15 is well above that of the f119 and f135, that is well above 210kn.

And we are not accounting the use of the splitter vanes by WS-15, which makes the air compressor much shorter, and lighter, while deliver far higher compression ratio. Thus greatly improved the engine performance in all altitudes and speed.

So the 5th gen aircraft engine should be much more powerful than the previous generation. Otherwise, it is impossible to perform the supercruise without afterburner, since the 4th gen aircrafts can only reach supersonic speed with afterburner for few minutes. If China can produce the most resilient single crystal engine blade, then this should already prove the supremacy of the WS-15.

The engine of F-15 and Su-27 produces around 100kn, and they were the king of the sky. The F119 produces 190kn and could supercruise at Mach 1.8 w/o afterburner. For this reason alone, F-22 is unbeatable when faces the 4-gen. fighters.

According to Mr. Daokou, the most critical component for the 5th gen fighter is still its supercruising engine. In front of USA/China/Russia, the stealth features of the 5th gen fighter are pretty much no different from being naked. The match of the sky supremacy between USA/China/Russia is still determined by the power of its engine.

The stealth features of the 5th gen aircrafts do work against those weak countries, but it doesn't work against the military powerhouses like USA/China/Russia. If China's J-20 is not being deployed with the WS-15, then it shouldn't be considered as a 5th aircraft. For a real military professional, anyone who thinks otherwise needs his/her head getting checked by the doctor.

Stealth has been overhype and oversold by US. Anyone who bought the stealth while ignoring speed while get a piece of junk called F-35.

As I have been saying both F-22 and J-20, probably Su-57 are capable of top speed well beyond Mach 3, probably close to 3.6.

You don't classify something like max. thrust and top speed as secret, unless its pretty scary.

The chief designer of the J-20 has already implied many times that China will enter into the age of the 6th gen aircraft by 2025. Yet some people are still believing that China will still struggle to equip the WS-15 by 2025. These people are either clueless or some real China haters.

I suspect 6th-gen. fighter will have a turbofan-ramjet engine, capable of Mach 4-6. "These people are either clueless or some real China haters." Yes, there are many clueless people, who pretend they know something.

If anyone who don't read technical papers and expect to keep up with the current developments are simply deluded.

Mr. Daokou has been the prophet for countless times, but the haters will still doubt him no matter how many times he got right. However, the real patriotic military fans from China simply love him.
