Hey steve, can you help with me some music here!

I've been listening to some American music from 3 years now since I've been here in London for my studies, so i've been listening to some pretty good American artists like Ice cube, Britney, Avril, Michael Jackson, Eminem, 50 Cent.

But I'm fed up listening to their songs again and again, do you know some good American artists who have made some nice songs which i can listen to???

In the thread "Buner Falls..." I have linked some video Interview of Mullah Nazir..in the third part he claims that the drones were shot down using "Shilka" guns...how effective are shilkas against the drones ??

S2 I understand that your an ex- artillery officer so I'd like to run something by you. #

For some time I have suggested on this forum that the Pakistan army makes greater use of guided artillery projectiles against militants. Basically use forward obsevers with man portable laser designators and use ammunition like the copperhead cannon launched projectile or krasnopol.

I would appreciate your opinion on this view as a "poor mans" alternative to drone strikes.

dangerous days for the Turri?? You must be kidding me. We control much of the Kurram Valley, we are known for being good fighters and good business people. Kurram Agency is one of the most developed of the 7 agencies.

What nonesense. We are spared the taleban issue because we fight them and dont support them. Still taleban try to harass us but we end up screwing them and dragging them down the road to the Army police.

Dont believe me? Go to Kurram and see for yourself. Come to Parachinar where the sectarian fighting went on --due to talibany attempts to disturb the peace.

the americans will never understand the realities we are facing, or the real truth of what is going on. The media exploits on the uncertainty of the situation --saying stupid things like Pakistan is a terrorist safe-haven and Parachinar is where OBL is hiding.

I have nothing against Americans. I have lived in America. But your policy makers are very blind to other cultures and what happens in other nations. We didnt even have terrorism in our country until we joined this so-called war on terrorism ---which is really just a guerilla war being fought without using senses.

to win a guerilla war, you fight using guerilla tactics. Pakistan Army is adopting to these tactics, which is why we have had major successes. American and NATO forces are getting pounded in Afghanistan because they still think that you can hit a few taleban fighters --without targetting their financial/logistics supplies.

it doesnt help if american warplanes are bombing afghan weddings, and other actions which result in civilian deaths. And that has become evident.

Americans are living comfortably thousands of kilometers away. What about us? We are on this on our own. Your media and your government/intelligence agencies are lying and failing you.
