outback life is totally crazy there. Its crazy to drive all the way there, being on horse must be totally hectic.

yeh it was hectic those days. flooding was a problem but not a big one - left the town about 15 years back. went there last year on my trip from sydney to moree. nostalgic and beautiful. there is no life like country life. those big sky lines and biking far away from home, and school days , playing footy and buying stuff from those small arse store, every body know you in the town , friendly neighborhood and crazy abo kids lol those were the days.

i was born in aus as well - a small town called moree. nsw. lived there next to mahi river flowing in backyard of my house. Was there for 10 years. sure keep it cool that side of world.

Unfortunately there are some A/Holes that seem to think lighting fires is great fun. In SA the police have spend days in OP sites checking our forests and grass lands as well as knocking on known A/Holes doors to let them know they are being watched. The Vic police have not done the same thing so it sadly happened. Loss of life is huge at teh last count and will no doubt go higher.
