these days SSC is offered for support brances of the armed forces like IT, medical, education eyc. permanant or long course is offered for front-line duties like GD pilot, fighting arms of the army etc. for LC u have to join the armed forces at 18 years age. for SSC i believe one can join in their mid to late twentiesAA. Sir would you tell me what is the purpose of short service commission in Pakistan Navy.And what is operation branch?What is the difference between permanant commission officers and SSC officers?
