Turkey is stronger than greece. Yes, but you missed the point: Turks are competitors for european countries. True that they can help against Russia and iran but after all they are historically and naturally enemies of Europe.

Azerbaijan does not have enough of gas for Europe. Turkmenistan has lots of gas but russia and iran will not let Turkmenistan to join the line since the line has to go through caspian sea. Also, europe has preferences, she rather buys from specific countries liks greece, Cyprus and israel.
