well this one is not the first one, US has already such system. And to counter the superior Indian tank force, PA is inclined more towards the heavy ATGM formations, which consist of fixed position ATGM emplacements, and M113s equipped with TOW ATGMS & self made Baktar Shiken ATGM. They work with tanks to counter Indian armor formations.

And now as for the rocket system, SY-400, here see this American one, just check its accuracy and the devastation it causes. Its called the MGM-140 ATACMS.

Check out another Chinese SY-400 system, it has 400KM range and can have GPS guidance, so now just imagine, how many of our ballistic missiles would be spared, and all the major Indian airbases within 300KM of the border would be in its range, and we can keep a constant barrage on the airbases to keep Indians nervous and disturbing their flight operations.

A-100 kind of systems can be equipped with different kind of warheads, simple HE, anti personnel and anti armor ones. Its major use is to attack deep inside enemy territory and destroy or damage installations which can be command centers, C3I areas, ammo dumps, fuel dumps etc etc. Even parked armor formations can be attacked with anti armor rockets. Its main plus point, is its deep striking capability. As it will safe PGMs or ballistic missiles for such tasks.
