  • 你好, 你是中国人吗?。。。。。
    ^^^ Well said applesauce.

It is pointless to argue with them though, I don't think they will ever agree with our perspective regarding the Tibetan government in exile.

Dude regarding the India - China Kashmir border thread, It seems you were offended . I Was just stating a few facts to counter Applesauce's words , and it started with him trying to justify Kashmir being not seen as an integral part of India. To me as to most of us here .....Kashmir = Integral part of India just like Tibet = integral part of China .....

We 've always agreed with the Chinese perspective before and in the interest of good relations we would like China to agree to our perspective as well. Hope this clarifies. and please dont take a debate / discussion personal.....my respect for Chinese remain unchanged.
    regards ,

Sad to see you also joining the hate brigade.. You were one of my favorite posters.

    Regards BeN
Hi CD .... I have seen some of your comments in one of the thread, I am not disappointed seeing the comments but really shocked that they were coming from you .... Generally I neglect any offensive things but I have seen one comment in which you stated that all Indians see China in a bad way .... I do agree that some people do say insane things ( also considering that there are some false flags ) But trust me there are people who don't think that way .... I have been seeing this forum for almost 1 years .... If you ask me now who would be best in this forum ? I would definitely say you, not any Indian member and I stand by that .... I always find your comments very sensible .

I'm not telling this not in order to change you stand I'm just telling 'cause there are people who still respect you and other Chinese members.

PS - I'm doing my post graduate studies in US and I'm working under Chinese prof's and I also have many Chinese friends. I do respect them.
CD, cardsharp mentioned about some confrontation you had with some indian members. i heard it got ugly.
I didn't take part in that thread (kinda knew where it was gonna go), I hope you don't take whatever was said to heart. You and CS are one of the most level headed Chinese posters here and it sucks to see you going to the other side. I know quite a few Indian members get carried away and loose balance and I offer my sincere apologies on their behalf. I'll see you around mate, looking forward to your usual posts. :-)
Im curious why China has banned these leaks? Im sure in a country as educated and aware people as the Chinese atleast in the main cities; they could find access to this information and feel 'suffocated'.

Does Chinese nationalism overcome all these potential pitfalls of stifling information access?

As mentioned on the main page, Ive no chip on my shoulder wrt China etc..
"the land-grabbing and settlement building in the occupied territories by Israel is regarded as illegal by the United Nations and by international law."

I know the U.N. sometimes says otherwise, but a bit of fun can be had questioning U.N. officials and making them stutter about what exactly is in the law books. Sovereignty in the West Bank still rests upon the old British Mandate, which was set up to promote Palestine as the Jewish Homeland. Jewish settlements are legal as long as the traditional (Ottoman, that is) civil rights of the Arabs are respected.

Originally Arabs throughout the Middle East were supposed to respect the civil rights of Jews in return but Jordan ejected its Jews in 1920 and the other Arab states joined in oppressing or ejecting their Jews in the ensuing decades, as Britain cynically abused its Mandate to cut down the allotted territory and restrict Jewish immigration. It wasn't for nothing that many Jews seeking to escape Nazi Germany ended up in Shanghai, rather than Palestine.
