You posted there about "freedom of speech"
when i posted something about Pakistan instead of abusing powers and deleting my articles why not give me my freedom of speech and leave it there? It did encourage a mature discussion with the Indian members about human rights Pakistan =).

I would like to bring to your attention the thread of "1000's of Copts clash with Eygptian police" in the world affairs section.

I once had a thread deleted by yourself and one by taimikhan whereby I was told not to discuss religion and that Pakistan was not responsible for other Muslim countries and that this is a Pakistani defence forum. I have sent a message to taimikhan about this thread with no action as yet, and would like to make clear that Islam bashing is not a place in this forum and should never be also. I have thus far restrained myself from launching into Hinduism and Christianity and their sheer atrocities against mankind, and do not wish to derail the forum by what it stand for. So please take some action, as I will start a quest to defame all these religions as they are with Islam

In the future I'll try to make sure any future such posts mention Pakistan clearly and specifically. But do realize that you're eliminating a lot of stuff that could be relevant.

Would you please modify your last post in the closed thread to criticize Mernissi, not I? Or do you think it's fair to project the views of someone I quote as my own, especially in a thread where I stated clearly that I am not offering my views at all?

You closed the thread before I could point out the fact that the views you object to are not mine, but those of Mernissi, the Muslim sociologist. You create the impression that you have attempted to turn a debate between Muslims into one between Muslims and non-Muslims.

Yet this is supposed to be a forum for political debate, is it not? And when this crosses over into religious and theological matters, then they are an appropriate subject for debate, yes? I am not participating in the discussions about the Mernissi extracts, yet don't you think that by hypothesizing and attempting to prove the theological, religious, and political roots of Muslims today (and she usually includes Pakistan in there) there may be something of importance for Pakistanis to discuss and even learn?
