Yugoslav Partisan Stjepan Filipović before hanging. Croatia, May 22, 1942.

Are the ones hanging him Soviet soldiers? German-aligned? And why was he being hanged? What did he represent?
He was a partisan of the Yugoslavian National Liberation Army led by Josip Broz Tito who masterminded resistance against Nazi Germany, Fascist Italy, Hungary, Bulgaria, the collaborationist Ustaše regime of Croatia, the Serbian nationalist Chetniks movement and other pro-Axis groups during the occupation of the Kingdom of Yugoslavia and hanged by the Serbian State Guard, a paramilitary force loyal to the Nazi occupation.
Those soldiers are collaborators of Nazis, don't know exact from which group,I presume they are from Serbian Volunteer Corps(Ljotićevci). Here some more info:Are the ones hanging him Soviet soldiers? German-aligned? And why was he being hanged? What did he represent?
