Bihar, Caste Divisions & India in 21st Century

Ok, no more BJP/Congress/Nitish/Lalu Please......

Just as a common citizen of India, who believed that in 21st century the caste divisions doesn't exists!

But when a big & Important state like Bihar votes absolutely on Caste lines is a worrying part for India who wants to compete with China.

Would like your views (irrespective of partyline) on this important subject. What can be done, is education the solution?

P.S. Please I repeat, this thread is not about BJP or Nitish or Lalu or Congress. I just want to know what we did wrong in 68 years of Independence that people still blindly believe on CASTE system!

We have educated people believing in Caste, forget about uneducated. Caste system is institutionalized, it cannot go away until reservation is removed entirely. Any party who does that will probably loose a lot of votes, but it is necessary...

Bhakt coping mechanism. It has been trying to get my attention for some time but since it does not register in my span of vision it is considered invisible. That aggravates it's attitude.

You live in a country which is the size of Bangalore International Airport. Large countries have more complex problems.

What caste do you prefer to be ...
Would you like to be a low caste or you are already a low caste.. That should answer your question.
