Israeli forces carrying out mass arrests in West Bank

Over past 30 minutes, multiple Palestinians have been detained in several Palestinian cities across West Bank by Israeli forces. Several homes have also been stormed. In past few days Israel has been increasing these actions. It's important to note that usually this is done when Israel has intention to carry out military assault against Palestinians. In order to make sure no uprising occurs in West Bank during such an assault.

News will make media(English reports) tomorrow morning as it is late at night.

Israeli forces detain 8 Palestinians from Hebron | Maan News Agency

HEBRON (Ma'an) -- Israeli forces detained eight Palestinians from different areas in Hebron and assaulted two teenagers during a detention raid in the al-Arrub refugee camp early Tuesday, locals reported.

They told Ma'an that Israeli forces detained two teenagers and a youth from Hebron. They were identified as Muhammad Youssef al-Rajabi, Baraa Muhammad al-Fakhuri, 16, and Ahmad Abd al-Rahman Abu Shamsiyeh, 24.

Israeli forces also raided the al-Arrub refugee camp around 1 a.m. and detained Wadee Salameh al-Jundi, 15, and assaulted his brothers, Islam, 13, and Jihad, 17.

Israeli forces also detained Shihab Kamal al-Jundi, 21, from al-Arrub camp.

In Beit Ummar, Israeli forces detained Mahdi Ali Badawi Ikhleil, 21, after raiding and searching his home.

Muhammad Awad, spokesman of a local popular committee, said that Israeli forces also raided the home of prisoner Ahmad Khader Abu Hashem for the second time in a week and searched the home using police dogs.

Clashes erupted in the area as Israeli soldiers fired rubber-coated steel bullets, stun grenades and tear-gas canisters.

Several Palestinians suffered severe tear-gas inhalation during clashes in the town.

Israeli forces detained Shihdeh Walid Amro, 27, from his home in Dura.

Soldiers also detained Mahmoud Hamdi Halayqa after raiding his home in the al-Shuyukh village.

Ramallah raid

Also Tuesday, Israeli forces detained a Palestinian teenager after raiding and searching his home in the Beit Rima town in northern Ramallah.

The teenager was identified as Suhaib Naser al-Rimawi, 15.

Israeli soldiers also assaulted and injured a Palestinian elderly identified as Taher Yaqub al-Rimawi, 80, after raiding his home in the town as well.

An Israeli army spokeswoman confirmed that arrest and 10 others overnight.

Not just Muslims but Christians. Remember Israeli's try turning this into religion issue. In reality all Palestinians are treated in same way. Back in the 60's many Palestinian activists were Christian. Especially top leaders. As you said though these Israeli settlers(Who have no right to be in occupied land in first place) have full protection from Israeli military/police to do whatever they want. Even many cases Israeli ministers accompany them in these show of force in Jerusalem. It is done purely to provoke others and try to claim Israeli sovereignty over Jerusalem.

That is because international community doesn't recognize Jerusalem as Israel's capital but Israel wants it to be that way.

15-20% of Palestinians were Christian when the whole business started if I'm not wrong. Now that number is way low. Palestinians saw the betrayal of Christians in the west and around the world and converted. There is not a single Christian leader with the balls to call out israel. The Christian community here (and no doubt in Europe) is almost wholly owned by the jews. I have seen what jews do to Christians there, but unfortunately much of the world is blind to it.
