NEW DELHI: Pakistan Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif will be attending Narendra Modi's swearing-in ceremony here on May 26, Pak government sources said on Saturday.

Pakistan PM House spokesperson confirmed that Sharif will be visiting New Delhi following Modi's invite. Pakistan foreign minister Sartaz Aziz would accompany Sharif during the visit.

The Pakistani premier's attendance will be a first in the history of the nuclear-armed neighbour countries.

Sharif's decision comes after days of speculations following New Delhi's invite.

Without the Pak Military on board nothing real will come of it plus with the likes of Hafiz and his India hating cronies they will do anything in their power to set back ties like when they did 26/11 attack.

I think this is a good gesture. We see that now both sides have business friendly governments. Business and trade must boom. It's time we compete on the economic front than the range of missiles. Well, there is not much competition there as well .
