Touching the Sky with Glory: A pair of MiG-29Bs, from the No.28 Squadron, go vertical. Both aircraft are armed with training acquisition rounds of the R-73RDM2 and a centreline drop tank. The 'First Supersonics' is the only squadron presently based at Lohegaon AFS, as the 'Black Archers' moved to Adampur AFS, in April 1997, to make way for the advent of the Su-30 Flanker at Lohegaon. The 'Black Archers' shares Adampur AFS with her sister squadron, the 'Tridents'.
