India developing anti-satellite weapons

I am saying that , not alone socialism but Socia-Capitalism is what you need. India has tremendous potential in agriculture which should be maintained not at the cost of industries. For this only in 1991 the proposals of MNS was rejected to set up industries in India. If it was more capitalistic then a lot of agricultural and fertile land would be compromised.

Capitalism is good in its way and socialism has its own benefits. Gujrat is developing because of the mentality of Gujraths, they are different to be frank. Plus Gujrat has lots of land where Industries can be put, since it is not fertile.

Of course you should get what you deserve if you do more work, but what kind of work, that also matters.

Agriculture would get you nowhere. Think, in one acre of land, how much crops can be grown, how many employments would it provide, and how much money would it give. If there is a factory in the same area, it can feed lot more mouths with it. If the demand for crops increases, more people would go for farming. If industry seem more profitable, people would go for it.

That is the thing about capitalism, anything that is not so productive, would be ruled out by itself. Anything profitable, would be adopted by more and more people.

And what do you mean by Socio-Capitalism. What parts of which system would you like to keep? I think India is already on a stage where we have parts of both system.

That was with Russian assistance. Basically a joint project.

PSLV was never helped by Russian Scientists.... it was purly Indian Scientists, which you'll never get or accept cause of the jealous.... Still you can't produce jet without outside resources and parts, you steal others technology shamelessly and you poke on Indian

It is not that if Industry is profitable people will go for it. We have seen it in Nandigram, west bengal. They objected against the Industry setup since the land was very fertile. Gujrat has lots of land where Industries can be put. We actually do not need much Industries. I used to think the same about putting Industries but then what will you eat, where you will get the food? You have to import it from outside at higher cost and then the dependance increases. Agriculture must not be dependent on others.

There are more than 4 Industry parks are finalized in 2003 but till yet nonce has been put why, because there is no land, no one is willing to give their fertile land for industrial purposes.

You honestly believe Nandigram was due to fertility of land?

Lets compare. Highest yield of wheat in the world is in New Zealand 8 tons per hectare (Indian av is below 3). Cost is say 300$ (15000 Rs) per ton so 120000 Rs per hectare (in 4 months). 1 Hectare is 107639 sq feet. So a farmer is earning much less than 30000 per month (subtract cost of farming) per hectare. Not to mention agriculture in India is nature dependent. Consider a factory in 100000 sq feet. It would be a large one. Think of total productivity in that factory, how many mouth it would be able to feed, how much its turnover would be. Farming would never come close. If they had a car factory instead of farm they could afford all imported food they want. And it is too far fetched. You wont be able to cover even 5% of arable land in India with factories in decades to come. This much itself would probably increase the GDP by more than 10 times. And improved techniques would easily cover for loss of farm land by higher yields per unit area.

Industrial parks are not getting setup because of corruption, incompetence. Everything derived from socialist policies. Give a farmer enough price for his land and a steady job, he would be willing to give up his land. Look at the farmers around Delhi NCR, Hariyana, etc.

cool it guys how does asat relate to wheat, bsnl, haryana and gujrat are related to it??

man dis forum used be awesome n informative.....now its full of people who just cannot see india trying to achieve something........shame man...damn shame on you guys......i have never seen any indian bashing a chinese or a pakistani if they are working or have achieved something in a particular field......this is disgusting man.....n i had so much respect for PDF

well this time he mentioned that a modified agni v would suffice the purpose.its just that we wont test it any time soon

wouldn't a modified Agni-4 be a better choice since it already has apogee of 900 km?

wouldn't a modified Agni-4 be a better choice since it already has apogee of 900 km?

nobody really knows the technical details.all those are speculations and estimations.besides the low earth orbit itself is up to 2000 km so 900km is nowhere sufficient.

what you are saying is not capitalism its industrialisation. even government can put up Industries. But the point is India is an agricultural country, as USA is. It will not improve any condition either because then you have to import rice, wheat etc from out side which is a very bad idea. When you can grow something in house, why you have to import, I do not understand this logic. No one does this. This will create inflation.

Yes nandigram was due to fertility of land, during riots I was there for holidays lol and i have talked to people of both sides. I was with TATA but then I realized okay yes, they have a point.

Oh,,, Coward communist slave is here finally to poke without knowing..... do you know already A5 have the applicability to to reach the space and destroy the sats... all we need an modified version... how long do you think it takes for us to develop....

Any i've to ask you are you 9th Std? or 8th?

Unless India has done ASAT tests and confirmed by respected military websites (not Indian media), India has absolutely zero capability to do ASAT. I don't want this coulda, woulda, shoulda rubbish. Prove that you've done it or you don't have the tech.

Sorry but that project was with massive Russian help. You know it too.

I was just replying to your post about industrialization vs agri. And as you should know, India grows more than it consumes. It doesnt even exports but let it rot. Besides, you dont need to replace all agricultural land to industry, a very small fraction would do. An industry in 1 acre would feed more mouth than agri in 20 acres of most fertile land. And industrialization would come inevitably in India with capitalism - cheap labor. The states, like WB, which are largely communist/socialist would just lag behind in development. And inflation is alright as long as purchasing power increases as well, it generally increases more.

And I would like to know why people were against the plant.

A socialist economic system would consist of a system of production and distribution organized to directly satisfy economic demands and human needs, so that goods and services would be produced directly for use instead of for private profit.

No profit, no growth.

.

Putting an industry itself costs capital, and you cannot put industry anywhere. you need a land where it can be put with near by market, labor, water power, etc. pollution check and more things. And it is only government who sanctions it. It is also decided what kind of industry, food agro, leather, cement, steel, etc. you have to decide and check a lot of things. Puttin a steel Industry on a fertile land is useless.
But if you put food and agro industry near buy agricultural land then it is much sensible.

well just for you we wouldnt be doing it. but yes if it becomes a necessity you give us the coordinates of your satellite we will hit it.
